Artistic blacksmithing is not only the production of sophisticated balustrades and fences, it is also or perhaps mainly the ability to turn artistic visions into a reality, so that a coherent whole is formed. Our work is characterized by craftsmanship and high quality workmanship.
We made the installation for Rafal Zapata project in Castle Culture Center. We are particularly pleased with this cooperation because thanks to our involvement, the project after its completion became a great joy for the visitors. The platform of Sensorium has been placed at the height of seven meters on the existing historic structure of the Imperial Palace tower. The installation has been designed to integrate with the interior of the tower as much as possible.
Platonic solids forming the basis of kinetic and sound installation by Szymon Kaliski and Marek Straszak project. This installation is interactive and is based on one complete and several successive partially deconstructed Platonic solids. By this arrangement, the installation makes rather peculiar but intuitively predictable sound.
We also made “a watering place”. This project, based on a properly curved steel bars, was designed by Jan Loba and won an award at Gdynia Design Days. The task of shaping the steel bars was just a seemingly easy one, but our knowledge and skills allowed us to accomplish a vision of the artist.
Metal elements being a part of artistic installation by Małgorzata Szymankieiwcz. Steel flat bars had to modeled to reflect the “lightness and flexibility” of the design, while preserving the strength of the body.
